Water Polo

What do I know about shooting sports? Not a lot! I came to watch my niece play water polo, but I came from a house shoot and arrived with only wide angle lenses! Fortunately a kind photographer from Digital West Photography was generous enough to let me borrow a zoom lens.

Great photos ! My favorite is the top....
I am also learning the art of sports photography. I believe that the basics of lighting and composition still apply, however they are somewhat out of your control. All you can do is to put your self in a location where the ambient light is working with you, and you are likely to catch some action. The rest is just luck....and timing.

Based upon your success, everything was working for you..... Cheers!
